I am Greggornation – I speak for our youth!   1 comment

Welcome to Greggornation!  Sometimes we just don’t understand what’s going on with our young people. (When I say young people, or youth, I am referring to those who are in the age range of 12 to 18) This is the age group that some of us sometimes aren’t comfortable with; We don’t know how to communicate with them; Sometimes we don’t even want to be near them – My wife, Jodi, drove three, 14 year old, boys home one night. She said the stench in the car was awful; What does it mean nowadays when a girl and boy are ‘going out”?

Are you like a “G6”? Ever hear of the band Wiz Khalifa , and their song “Black and Yellow”? If not, you better read up…

Well, I am here to help you with all of that. For parents, understanding today’s youth  culture will help you to understand what makes your child tick. For those that might rather not be around youth because they make them nervous, or think that youth are always causing trouble, or they smell bad (believe me, most boys do), reading what is on this site will help you understand them and hopefully you will be drawn to them, rather than being repelled by them.

This site is not here to bash our young people, or to “tell on them”.  Again it is here to bring the generations together so they can honor each other to accomplish what they were created for. I feel a little bit like the Lorax – instead of speaking for the trees, I am speaking for the youth! (I’m just not as hairy…)

Unless we honor them, who will?
